Lori Smyth
Founder

Lori moved to Austin and started Smyth Homes in 2014 after fifteen years of spec building, project management and interior design in Santa Barbara, California. She has found Austin to be a beautifully creative and caring community and loves making homes for its long time and/or new residents. She looks at each project through the lens of a designer and focuses her attention on the details of each home which make all the difference between good and great.

Nick Mosley
Operations Manager

Nick brings six years of construction management experience and has teamed up with Smyth Homes to create a new level of construction services which include development, design/build services for homeowners and turnkey solutions for investors. Nick manages the operations for Smyth Homes utilizing new industry solutions, streamlining construction processes and developing cost-savings strategies while maintaining the Smyth Home philosophy. Nick is passionate about the green building goals for Smyth Homes and the impact it will have in our community.

Hayden Richardson
Project Manager

Born and raised into a construction family in East Texas, Hayden’s interest in home building started at an early age. After studying construction engineering and business at the University of North Texas, Hayden began his residential home building career here in Austin with a large production housing company. Lori was lucky enough to convince Hayden to join her team and now Hayden manages the field operations overseeing construction and quality control. His dedication to maintaining good relationships with all of our valued subcontractors and standing behind Smyth Homes’s philosophy of quality design, quality construction, and sustainability made Hayden a perfect fit for our team.
